Title: USS North Dakota (BB-29) history notecard

Inscription/Marks: Notcard reads "N O R T H D A K O T A #BB29" and "This obsolete battleship was authorized in 1907 and was named in honor of the State of North Dakota. Afet long and faithful service she was replaced as a first-line battleship by the "West Virginia" on December 1, 1923-rendered incapable of further warlike service on May 29, 1924-and converted to a mobile target. She was replaced as a target by the "Utah" and stricken from the Register on January 7, 1931. She was sold on March 16, 1931 and scrapped."
